Business arising | Grant from Council: Discussion on what we could ask for in this round of grants from the council. Suggestions: Bus trip, solar panels, large work bench on wheels, seating for the education centre. Club Positions: Discussion on the need for roles like Welfare Officer and Garden Manager. The consensus was that a Garden Manager was not needed and that we could all take accountability for jobs that we can see need doing. Welfare officer was seen as an antiquated title, and the team should look out for each other. We determined that a Garden Care team will be formed. Garden Working Meet-ups: Potential weekly morning event (7 AM–12 PM) for general garden maintenance. A poll will be sent on Facebook to gain consensus on which day Planting Team: Consideration for seasonal planting teams. Not restrictive but a team of people who can lightly guide others on what to plant and where to plant them. Help with buying seedlings or growing seedlings for the members to plant. Need signs made for beds that have seeds sowed directly into them Sponsor Signs: Dany will organise soon. Mowing Team: Request to FB to join the mowing team with Donna, Barb, and Jed.
