President’s ReportGarden improvements – We purchased 2 Garden Arches for $350 each, ($700 total) which were kindly delivered by the man from FB Marketplace. They are still in the box Will need to be painted for protection from the weather, and fixed into the ground with braces attached to sunken besser blocks..
Grants and funding: SCC new Grant round – it was decided we would ask for funding for the next round of garden beds and some park benches for around the garden.
It is likely that the Education Centre will wait for funding in the new financial year, where Terry Landsberg’s funding will become available
We are finalists for the Aura Stocklands grant for $18,500. We have been invited to the awards ceremony next Friday morning
Speaking Opportunities: The talk to Rotary Caloundra went very well and was an entertaining morning.
Thyme Out:  Thursday morning is a new venture to encourage new people to come to site and mingle and visit with members.
AGM: this is planned for July 15th, and will likely be held at Bells on Main in the cinema complex.  Prior to the AGM is time to make the decision whether to stay on the committee or join the committee.  The executive positions are also available for anyone to nominate for, please speak to us if you wish to do this.
The nomination forms for the committee are required to be made available 4 weeks prior to the AGM.
Thanks: I want to acknowledge the very hard work by our members in looking after and working to do the tasks needed for the garden.
Secretary’s Report
Front entrance sign: The Design for the Front Entrance Sign has not been approved by enough of the committee members and therefore has not been approved. Owner’s consent is approved for the sign, funding will come from Terry in Jul 25.
