President | We have tenure! Now we can form the Garden and work out how to approach Gardening Australia website Stan to ask Terry Landsberg to request $20K of funds for the garden to get water for the garden |

Secretary | Council Grant $2,000 – Tegan organised an extension on this until March next year Correspondence: Correspondence from the Community garden catch up was forwarded to all members Constitution was sent to all Committee members Members: Bev and Jed joined as paid members |
Fundraising | Fundraising can start Manager at the george st nursery will be able to help with resources. Linda to reach out to see whether they will donate something for a raffle [] I am from GBCG – Digital Business card for Linda Fundraising bbq at the site. Flyers to print up to invite people to the garden Who will approach which shop – Fundraising committee Noela and Danyelle Stan suggested a spreadsheet with who is approaching who. Chill Cafe – Glynis Power boat club? BBQ Fundraiser 24th November BBQ fundraiser at the site? Donations from Coles for sausages and bread. [] Email Jo about what went wrong with their BBQ Donation for the raffle: Sean? Ilandscape, Caloundra produce, george street (Linda), Mitre 10, Decide on the price of the raffle tickets – depends on the value of the prize – $1 or 6 for $5 – cost versus how much we make. Other Discussions | We discussed the design of the garden []Permaculture plan for the garden Jody let us know that Council can give us free water like they do with toilets in the park, or showers at the beach []Call Elliot about water We discussed what will be in the garden and what it might need us to buy or source Wicking beds or normal gardens – what to build the gardens out of? Dump shop = corrugated iron, tools, trellises shed, Off cuts – Mitre 10 – 3rd grade timber Discussed that if we can only afford a few garden beds we can start with a few We discussed the Indigenous plant species and education that we would like to have in the garden – Linda’s cousin runs a nursery in Maleny nursery Stan’s son in law is indigenous and would love to come to talk with us – Neville Bonners grandson – a few paddocks around the place Discussion around the ambiguous line in the constituition []Constitution line – change to make it non-ambiguous – keep people hands out of the till.
